One hundred and six students out of 210 enrolled in the PGA Golf Management Program at Coastal Carolina University currently have GPAs above a 3.0. The minimum GPA to remain eligible for the program is a 2.0.

Some 83 students participated in the recent Coastal Carolina University Undergraduate Research Competition. Presentations were delivered by students from 20 majors representing all academic colleges, illustrating the outstanding quality of student research at the University. Students presented alone or in teams, and a few presented their work on two different projects. Together, they have served to highlight the considerable research talents of our students and the wealth of experiential learning opportunities at CCU.

Students nominated for 2015 Ronald D. Lackey service award at CCU
Seven seniors at Coastal Carolina University have been nominated for the prestigious 2015 Ronald D. Lackey service award. The winner will be announced at the Student Involvement and Leadership Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 22, in Wheelwright Auditorium at 7 p.m. The Ronald D. Lackey Service Award was established in 1991 in honor of the late Ronald Lackey for his dedication to campus and community service. The award is presented annually to a CCU senior who serves the University community with conspicuous service through involvement and leadership in campus and community activities.

Four CCU students attend International Student Festival in Norway
Four Coastal Carolina University students from the University's politics, global studies, and the intelligence and national security programs participated in the International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT) in Norway. Charles Stackhouse, Dylan Fender, Austin Nichols and Erin Bair represented the United States along with more than 400 students from all over the world in Trondheim, Norway, Feb. 4 to 12, to deliberate on the theme of global corruption.
