Victor Queiroz excels in online business competition

Victor Queiroz , of Myrtle Beach, SC , (29579) was among nine Coastal Carolina University marketing students who recently placed first in an international business simulation competition, GLO-BUS.

GLO-BUS, a competition in which college student teams are assigned to run a digital camera company competing with other students from around the world. GLO-BUS is a hands-on learning technique that is completed entirely online, giving students real world managerial experience. The simulation is utilized in the classroom to give students the experience of making business and marketing strategy decisions, the chance to analyze the results, analyze and monitor competition, and then make strategy changes accordingly.

The winning teams will also participate in Grand Championship Simulation in May, which is also held online.
