Susan Oxfurth graduates from Coastal Carolina University

Susan Oxfurth, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Coastal Carolina University during commencement exercises on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the HTC Center.

Oxfurth was among 591 candidates for graduation. Commencement speaker Edgar L. Dyer, longtime CCU professor and administrator, spoke about the importance of universal public education in the advancement of free and civil societies.
