Lucille Romanik wins regional psychology research award

2017 Apr 12

Lucille Romanik, a art studio major at Coastal Carolina University from Winston Salem, NC, was one of the winners of the Psi Chi Regional Research Award at the annual meeting of the Southeastern Psychological Association in Atlanta, Ga., in March.

The Psi Chi Regional Research Award is presented to students submitting the best research papers to Psi Chi sessions at regional conventions. The students were advised by CCU faculty members Terry Pettijohn, Andrew Terranova, Kevin Carlson and Kim Baker.

Psi Chi is the international honor society for psychology. The Southeastern Psychological Association was the first regional psychological association to establish a commission to enhance the role of women in the organization.
