Emily Graham Wins First Place at National Conference

Emily Graham of Hemingway, SC, an accounting major at Coastal Carolina University, won first place honors from the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) national leadership conference. The conference, which was recently held in Chicago, featured participants from across the United States who showcased their talents as future business leaders and competed for the opportunity to win more than $81,000.

Graham competed in accounting principles, an event that recognizes Phi Beta Lambda members who have a superior understanding of basic accounting principles and who showcase their knowledge in solving practical accounting issues.

This award was part of a comprehensive national competitive events program that recognizes and rewards excellence in a variety of business and career-related areas.
