Morgan Howder, a communication major from Myrtle Beach, SC, was named Rising Leader of the Year award. at Coastal Carolina University's 2016-2017 Student Involvement and Leadership Awards. Howder is a graduate of Hopewell High School

CCU recently presented its annual 2016-2017 Student Involvement and Leadership Awards at Wheelwright Auditorium. The annual cermeony recognizes outstanding programs, contributions and initiatives that individual students, clubs and orgnaizations, participate in during the academic year.
